about

"Skull and crossbones" is the lead single from "Victims of the avantgarde", The Kiss That Took A Trip's long-in-the-works fourth album. It features the quite ironic and anthemic fists-in-the-air title track, an outtake from the album (sadly, "Attaboy!" didn't fit there), and the reworkings of two old demos The Kiss recorded in 2009, now in their full glory and sounding as they intended to do. One of them ("Mary Ward") has even grown vocals.

about

The Kiss That Took A Trip Madrid, Spain

The Kiss That Took A Trip is a musical project conceived by M. D. Trello in 2006.

Musically, it can be described as a very lo-fi effort, based on tunes that try to recapture the importance of melody and atmosphere over technical proficiency and radio-friendly formats. The sound mixes rock, pop, post-rock, easy listening, ambient, new age, noise and dissonance. ... more
